Keith P. Rein and Olga Noes Present: "The Best Little Petting Party in North Carolina"
Keith P. Rein
is an illustrator and designer based out of Athens, GA working under the studio name, The P is for Penis. The 29-year-old artist received a BFA from the University of Georgia in 2006, with a focus in photography. Each piece typically begins with a photo shoot, used as a reference for his illustrations, which blend analog and digital techniques to create a unique style described as "watercolor-meets-digital painting."
Rein combines his love of humor, sex, food, and often geek culture to produce an alluring body of work that will, hopefully, make you laugh and might get you turned on.
Olga Noes is a self-taught portrait artist by trade, whose primary fuel for creativity is juxtaposition. The marriage of beauty and tragedy is uniquely appealing to Olga in prose, paint and life in general; joining these two components in all her work, primarily using the female form and portraiture as the medium, is her goal.
The creative beast that is Zoe Swindell presents her grand finale thesis works from UNCSA titled, "A Dead Body Climbed on Top of Me".
Also featured in May will be selected works by Delurk collective members Chad Beroth, Katie Chasteen, The Patrick Harris, Jennifer O'Kelly, Chris Powers, Will Safrit, Molly Grace Simpson, Zac Trainor, Dane Walters and Shane-Brumley Ward, and 10 year old Junior Delurker Emily Beroth.
