GHOSTS OF JOHNSTON COUNTY is the story of a handful of persistent North Carolinians who lead an ongoing struggle to expose their community's links to a CIA torture program from the 'war on terror' and to shed light on the compelling human stories of its victims. The film unveils an 'on the ground' account of this struggle, ending with a personal dialogue between local advocates and Abou El-Kassim Britel, a European survivor of the NC 'torture taxi' flights.
